Design a logo for New Wave Recruiting.
Founded by Brooke Pullman, New Wave Recruiting is a firm that specializes in putting the right creative people in the right jobs.
Many recruiters in this day and age are focused on just finding jobs for candidates and maximizing their profits (based on a percentage of the candidate's final salary). However, Brooke is on a mission to find the perfect match and will work tirelessly to connect a candidate to the job of their dreams and an employer to an employee of their dreams.
It's a new way of approaching recruitment that is focused on honesty and integrity.
Attached is a sample logo (blech!) and a color palette (not too bad if used appropriately). The logo uses a serif font which is not completely appropriate for a forward-thinking recruitment firm. And I'm not quite sure setting the logo in initials is going to help in recognition of a new company, so the assignment is two fold:
• Create a logo based on the initials NWRecruiting with more modern typefaces in the palette provided. Also, if there is some sort of iconography or representational art to help get across what NWR does, all the better.
• Create a logo that uses the full name "New Wave Recruiting". I think stacking this would provide us with the best option and the use of more modern typefaces will help get the forward-thinking idea across. In this one, also explore iconography or representational art that can help boost the meaning of the logo.
• Avoid any imagery that connotes surfing, swimming, fishing, the ocean, etc.
